About Robyn Adams

I have been a working creative artist for 25+ years, primarily in the animation industry where I specialized in color design and background painting for television series and commercials. In that time I enjoyed working with amazingly talented people and learned to work quickly and in wide a variety of styles. After 10 years of self-employment I joined First Republic Bank as a Graphic Designer in the Human Resources Department, seven months before the bank closed. I am now providing creative services for San Francisco Pride. I have also been active as a creator on the web since the mid-1990s when I founded The Mego Museum, a vintage toy website that has since become the go-to destination for fans of 1970s action figure toys with thousands of registered users. More recently, I am the creator of Abandoned Republic, an online archive of the classic Banana Republic Travel & Safari Company. In that capacity I\'ve been honored to consult with contemporary Banana Republic regarding their rich history. I am also creative director for the Louise Lawrence Transgender archive and assist in their mission to preserve transgender history. I live in Oakland California with one kid, two cats and way too many collectibles.
