I am an educator, leader, and systems thinker dedicated to transforming education through collaborative reform and equitable policy co-creation. My career spans K-12 teaching, higher education leadership, and advocacy for equity-centered approaches to systemic change.As the author of At the Table or On the Menu: Strategies for Enabling Practitioner-Led Policy Co-Creation in Education Systems, I explore how educators can lead systemic reform through participatory governance frameworks and actionable tools like the Practitioner-Led Policy Co-Creation (PLPC) framework.In my roles as a K-12 educator, higher education administrator, and DEIB strategist, I’ve-Advocated for marginalized students and developed holistic curriculum solutions in Title I schools-Led transformative culture change initiatives at Sacramento State University, empowering educators and students through equitable policies and practices-Designed and facilitated professional development programs emphasizing reflective practice, teacher leadership, and systems thinking.My work bridges theory and practice, empowering educators to influence policy and co-create innovative solutions. I believe practitioner voice and teacher ownership are essential to advancing equity, improving student outcomes, and driving sustainable change.Looking ahead, I’m committed to expanding my impact by fostering partnerships across public and private sectors, positioning myself as a catalyst for systemic reform and collaborative innovation.
