ABOUT ROB NASH
Rob acts as the catalyst for change, for individuals, teams and their managers. Through consultancy, training and coaching he helps people become unstuck, up-skilled, more productive and ultimately more motivated at work.Rob\'s specialisation is in the field of sales - backed up by a long career in IT and finance selling - he helps commercial teams to find, win and keep more customers.A science and psychology graduate with a life-long interest in how people think and how they can be more effective, he is a trained Business Coach, a member of the Association for Coaching, a Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner and accredited in the use of the DISC psychometric tool.Since setting up OpenThink Ltd he has been consulting, coaching and training for a variety of organisations and operational areas – deeply understanding businesses, recommending where change was needed, bringing clarity and structure, developing people’s skills and coaching for motivation and results. He has completed 2 interim Sales and Marketing Director assignments, initiating the process of significant change and improvement within both organisations. As an interim director, he was a fresh pair of eyes with a voice at board level, so was able to speak frankly and to bring about real change in a short time. His coaching and mentoring approach won ‘buy-in’ from his teams and allowed him to rapidly get under the skin of the business. His career has been in sales and marketing – notably as Director for the UK’s largest Security software Channel organisation, Unipalm,(now Arrow ECS), in Newmarket, Suffolk. At the fulcrum of change in this fast growing company,(from £6M to £60M revenue in 9 years), he had to build, manage and shape diverse sales and marketing teams into a coherent unit.
