About Rob Lewis

With over 30 years in the music and performing arts industries, I bring a rare blend of creative leadership, operational experience, and long-term collaboration with iconic artists. As a music director, producer, and orchestrator, I’ve led world tours, designed immersive concerts, and shaped live performances across venues like the Hollywood Bowl, Madison Square Garden, and international broadcast platforms. At the heart of my work is a deep respect for storytelling, artistic excellence, and cultural relevance. For two decades, I served as Christina Aguilera’s music director, with equally longstanding partnerships with artists like Babyface, Toni Braxton, and New Kids on the Block. These relationships taught me how to grow in tandem with evolving artistic visions—adapting my creative and technical skill sets to meet each new challenge. As a TEDx speaker and developer of AI-integrated music tools, I’m passionate about the intersection of innovation and artistry. I see emerging technologies not as replacements, but as collaborators—tools that can deepen human expression when guided by vision and intention. Now focused on producing work within cultural institutions, I serve as guest faculty for Carnegie Hall’s The B-Side and previously held a five-year tenure as Artist-in-Residence at Berklee College of Music. I’m committed to expanding civic dialogue through inclusive, future-facing programming—and to fostering environments where artistic risk, technological exploration, and equity coexist.
