Co-founder of Renew Legal, a law firm created to provide flexible, truly specialist and commercial legal support to the energy sector.Rob has over 20 years’ experience within the energy industry and has provided legal support to numerous major clients active in the UK renewables and energy sector. This has been across multiple technologies, such as EV Charging, onshore and offshore wind farms, hydro-electric schemes, energy storage, solar and anaerobic digestion. Recently he has been very active in assisting clients with the negotiation of joint development arrangements in the solar and BESS sector. Prior to setting up Renew Legal he held senior legal and commercial management roles within various business areas of RWE Npower, a major UK utility. During this period, he provided support to the retail, generation, trading, energy service and renewable divisions of RWE in the UK and the international division of its predecessor National Power. Areas of Expertise: Virtual In-house support, general project, M&A and commercial legal advice to the energy and renewables sector.
