I help businesses grow by creating and executing marketing strategies that maximize their available resources-My marketing background is not typical.I started in the health & fitness space; first as a personal trainer, then a gym manager, and finally fulfilling a lifelong dream of owning a gym (2, actually).While I always participated in marketing activities before starting my own business, once you become an entrepreneur / founder / business owner I believe you see the world of marketing a little different. You don’t fall in love with channels or tactics, but rather underpriced attention & driving business results. You better understand the opportunity costs associated with how you deploy your marketing budget. You get a much better view of how product/services, sales, & marketing are all intertwined. And you understand intimately that you can’t market your way through a product or service no one wants to use and a story no one wants to hear.I’ve since transitioned into roles at more technical companies, including working for an ecommerce tech startup as a product marketer, consulting on demand gen projects for an enterprise data visualization company, and digital marketing strategist for a fintech startup. All the while, running my own digital marketing agency, helping a diverse cross-section of local businesses, ecommerce, and startups.The culmination of my experience is a deep passion for not only the discipline of marketing, but a desire to understand \"business\" at the deepest level- Completed my Executive MBA program at Quantic School or Business & Technology. I love bridging the gap between emotions/empathy and hard data.🤓 I have a knack for breaking down & effectively communicating complex topics.
