I am a pharmaceutical professional with many different abilities. I have 17 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry as an SME and leader of people. I excel at adjusting to the many different types of personalities in the Pharma world along with finding new and creative ways to more efficiently and effectively doing tasks with my experience in continuance improvement. At Mylan Pharmaceuticals, I was a coordinator. I would lead the employees, under my supervision, by making sure they would be qualified and competent in all aspects of their jobs. I scheduled employees based on the needs of the company. I was also the main troubleshooter and problem solver for the granulation department. I worked with scale up formulators to increase the batch sizes of our products. I also helped in many investigations to figure out any problems we had with the product. I am very familiar with OPEX. This is where I developed my leadership ability. I was 23 years old when I started and developed invaluable leadership qualities while working 12 years at Mylan. I was a trainer for many employees in all positions within the company. I could operate and was certified to train other employee on fluid beds (multiple sized vector fluid beds), compactors, blenders (V-blenders and Bin Blenders), 4 different types of tablet presses (IPR Unipress, Hata, Fette, and Courtoy), encapsulation machines, jet mills, and D6 and D12 auger fed mills. I would have to be up to date at all times on FDA regulations, DEA regulations, cGMP, and our own SOPs to be able to train these employees. I am very detailed oriented and attempt to perfect the roles I have been assigned. My degree in business management has been invaluable in my career. I currently work at Alkermes. I manage the day to day activities of the OSD department. I lead employees on our two shifts in our Commercial areas. I train employees to teach them how to operate the different machines at the plant and troubleshoot issues when the need arises. The most difficult being the Vector Coater and the Courtoy Module P Tablet Press. I,also, do a lot of clinical research, R&D, scale up and engineering studies. Since I have been at Alkermes, I have been an integral part of developing and commercializing Lybalvi, our newest drug. I have obtained my green belt in our OPEX program. I am now pursuing my yellow belt. I have completed a certificate of leadership from the University of Dayton. Also, I have completed half of my MBA with an emphasis in management, innovation, and change through Wright State University.

   I manage two shifts while keeping up with the schedule by using OPEX, Leadership training, and Lean manufacturing techniques to safely produce product in a timely, efficient, and effective manner. Developing training, SOPs, master batch records, and manufacturing procedures to produce our OSD product.I work closely with supply to use their forecast to develop our production schedule. I develop our schedule based off of the commercial demand, clinical needs, and development work needed for our products.I have developed an intense training program to safely train all of our employees in every aspect of OSD manufacturing that we utilize. this has included starting a second shift and training employees across those shifts to make for a more well-rounded team. I am responsible for my employees development, whether it be through job training or coaching by utilizing my leadership skills.
