SKILLS
ABOUT JAIMEE ROBINSON
I began my civil construction career with the Navy Public Works Center at the Norfolk Naval Station where I developed my appreciation of the importance of infrastructure. Working with Naval and Civilian engineers to fund, design, improve, and maintain the region’s myriad of shipyards, airfields, and outposts that supported the Navy\'s Atlantic Fleet provided an opportunity to see the difficulties many public and private organizations face. After earning my MBA from Arizona State in 2009, I became involved in Ames Construction\'s Marketing, Project Pursuit, and Business Development efforts via a newly created Marketing Coordinator position. I expanded on this position and developed a thorough understanding of the elements and relationships that encompass a project from the initial public outreach activities, pursuit, and design and construction phases. In 2015 I chose to move forward as a freelancer so that I could focus on my core competencies – and have the opportunity to work with various teams and organizations. However, working alone did not suit me. I found I missed being a permanent member of a team with long-term goals. In 2016 I accepted a position at Gannett Fleming. Beginning as a Senior Proposal Specialist and transitioning to Business Development and Proposal Manager not long after, I had a wonderful time serving a great team. In 2022, I accepted a position with the Construction Services group and am thrilled to fulfill a long-held dream to support Gannett Fleming clients with Program and Construction Management. I also serve on the board for the Construction Management Association of America – Arizona Chapter and am an active member in the AZ Chapter of American Public Works Association.
