I’m at my best in complex environments where the path forward is not yet clear. I’m comfortable with ambiguity and help teams make sense of what’s happening, align around what matters and design change that is clear, workable and sustainable. I pair a creative, narrative mindset with strong technical fluency and responsible use of AI.My background spans strategy, UX research and digital modernization across both commercial and public-sector work. I come from a blend of creative and technical roots, with experience in branding, creative agencies and full-stack development. That combination shaped how I think and work. I move easily between story and structure, vision and implementation, and I’m comfortable engaging deeply with both people and technology.I’ve spent enough time close to engineers, designers and leaders to know where things break down, and I’m good at catching those moments early. I listen closely, connect ideas across perspectives and use storytelling and creative thinking to turn complexity into shared understanding. That clarity helps teams make better decisions and design change people can actually live with and adopt.I care deeply about how systems feel to the people who rely on them, especially during moments of transition. Much of my work lives in the in-between stages of change, when old and new systems coexist and people still have real work to do. I focus on making those transitions make sense so change feels useful, not disruptive or imposed.AI is part of how I work today. I use it as a thinking partner to spot patterns, explore alternatives and challenge my assumptions. I question its output, look for gaps and use it to pressure-test ideas rather than accept answers at face value. This lets me think more creatively and rigorously while keeping judgment, accountability and context firmly human.I’ve worked in both regulated and fast-moving environments, including government, healthcare, consumer goods and financial services. That experience shaped how I think about scale, constraints and long-term system health, not just launches or quick wins.I’m motivated by work that rewards curiosity, experimentation and thoughtful collaboration. I get real satisfaction from solving hard problems and knowing the work puts something good into the world. I believe clarity creates momentum and that meaningful change starts with listening, then builds through trust and shared understanding.

1. Digital Strategist and Ux Researcher, Civic Tech Modernization

   Working on a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) civic tech modernization effort within the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) at the Office of Head Start (OHS), focused on improving how Head Start programs are audited and monitored through the Aligned Monitoring System (AMS).I support teams by helping translate policy, technical, and user needs into clear, usable inputs for design and development. My work includes UX research, system analysis, and documentation that helps teams make informed decisions and move forward with shared understanding.I collaborate closely with engineers, product leads, and program stakeholders to surface assumptions, clarify tradeoffs, and reduce ambiguity in complex, regulated environments. The goal is to keep modernization efforts grounded, practical, and aligned with how people actually use the system.I use AI as a support tool to accelerate analysis and pattern recognition, while maintaining human judgment and accountability for all decisions.
