About Robin Johnson

My journey into talent sourcing and pipelining started with Pentagon assignments where I helped shape transformative initiatives and policy reform that expanded career opportunities for transitioning service members and military spouses. This work included providing consultation to over 80 private sector companies on how to pipeline and retain veteran and military spouse talent. After a 20+ year Army career, I now have the privilege to lead Boeing\'s Military-Connected and Veteran Program with the mission to champion veterans, service members, and military spouses by shaping pathways onto our team. My passion lies at the intersection of workplace culture, comedy, and supporting the veteran community. If you really knew me, you would know that I love to laugh and make others laugh! I was voted Charleston, South Carolina\'s Best Comedian and continue to tour world-wide. I completed the three-year process to become a Certified Humor Professional accredited by the Association for Applied & Therapeutic Humor and am also a TEDx speaker, Veteran Fellow at the Hoover Institution (Stanford University), faculty for Thayer Leadership (at West Point) and Institute for Defense & Business (at Duke), and guest lecturer at Stanford Medical School and College of Charleston. I speak and teach on the use of humor beyond entertainment-a super power for leadership, business negotiations, and workplace culture. When not working or on a stage, you will find me on the sidelines of my kid\'s sporting events-cheering loudly, offering creative interpretations of the rules, and doing my best not to get ejected for excessive spirit.
