   As Chief Executive Officer and President of American Humane Society and Global Humane Society, I have led one of the most trusted and highest-rated humanitarian organizations in the world—earning top-tier charity ratings for accountability, transparency, and financial stewardship.Under my leadership, American Humane Society and our international arm Global Humane Society have: • Protected, cared for, or rescued more than 1.6 billion animals each year through world-leading certification, rescue, and service-dog programs. • Expanded from a U.S. institution to a global platform now active in 62 countries, advancing animal welfare, wellbeing, and innovation worldwide. • Established the Global Humane Conservation Fund of Africa, supporting rewilding, anti-poaching, and threatened-species protection across the continent. • Built the world’s most comprehensive network of independent, third-party humane certifications—improving conditions for animals on farms, in zoos and aquariums, in entertainment, and in conservation centers. • Strengthened lifesaving programs including Pups4Patriots®, animal rescue deployment, disaster response, and military working-dog reunification—benefiting both animals and the heroes who serve alongside them. • Championed humane innovation, technology, and solutions that raise global standards for animal care, ethics, and welfare practices.As a storyteller and advocate, I also created and executive-produced the award-winning documentary series Escape From Extinction, elevating the urgency of species protection and inspiring public action worldwide.My guiding belief is simple: lead with compassion, deliver measurable impact, and build a more humane world where animals and people thrive.
