The Chief Diversity Officer leads the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and will serve as the University’s chief strategist for transformative and institutional change related to equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging. In this role, the CDO will utilize best practices to innovate new frameworks and implement strategies and tactics that infuse the principles of equity and inclusion into the entire university\'s culture. The CDO provides consultative leadership to enable the university to become more diverse, equitable, inclusive and increase the intercultural fluency of faculty, staff, students. The Chief Diversity Officer is responsible for leading, coordinating, and guiding all efforts to define, understand, assess, motivate, and cultivate diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging as a fundamental institutional and academic core value, practice, and resource.
