I am passionate about developing systemic solutions to major environmental challenges such as climate change, resource depletion, and industrial waste management. My work focuses on advancing sustainable materials and circular approaches within the construction sector. Currently, I am engaged in research on SPORA production, the development of supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs), and coal ash reclamation. My interests include waste valorization, circular material systems, carbon mineralization, and innovative pathways for transforming industrial by-products into high-value construction materials. Expertise • Materials design and process engineering for the valorization of industrial by-products through carbon mineralization, thermochemical treatment, and aggregate manufacturing. • Advanced characterization of cementitious and ceramic materials using multi-scale techniques including SEM, XRD, FT-IR, DSC, TGA, X-ray CT, DIC, UPV, and acoustic emission testing. • Concrete durability and performance engineering including freeze–thaw resistance, internal curing, thermal regulation. • Integration of experimental research, computational modeling, life-cycle assessment, and data-driven analysis for sustainable infrastructure materials.
