I did my PhD from 2009–2015 and my thesis was titled “Acoustic communication in the bush frogs of genus Raorchestes and Pseudophilautus” from University of Delhi in collaboration with University of Minnesota, USA. The primary objective of my PhD research was to record, quantitatively describe, and compare the vocalization of bush frogs - the most diverse group of amphibians from the Indian Sub-continent. I also studied the community wise partitioning of signaling niche in sympatric bush frogs. I have also independently studied breeding behaviour of a many amphibian species from the Western Ghats.
