ABOUT ROBIN SMART

With ten years of practical, hands on human resource management and a further 15 years in banking/investment administration and credit union operations, Robin’s expertise is in recruitment, on-boarding, managing the work-life of the employee and interpreting complex policies and collective agreements. Highlights of her work include implementing and managing outsourced payrolls for companies with global employees; developing and facilitating leadership development programs with 360 degree review features; and managing the complex field of compensation, rewards and recognition and the facilitation of transitioning employees. Robin understands pensions and benefits and is well versed in the complexity of disability case management as well as registered investment product administration, regulatory remittances and reporting. Robin’s greatest passions are family and community development. Since 2004 Robin has provided leadership and is the founder of the Smart Foundation for Melanoma Research created following the tragic loss of her husband to Melanoma. The foundation is active in raising money for research through various fundraising events as well as the sale of the “Dave Smart Sticky Socks”.
