I\'ve taken this passion for unity and apply it to building teams and achieving outstanding outcomes. While my childhood rock star dreams have faded, my fascination with warriors, influenced by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Arnold Schwarzenegger movies (ah, the glorious 80s), remained. This fascination led me to pursue a career in the Army Special Forces as a Green Beret, where I discovered a love for technology and data-driven, common-sense strategies. Now - I am in IT and project management, leading a small team at an awesome, local MSP.At the start and end of everything we do is a human connection - and I enjoy the helpdesk aspect of my work, I get to interact with so many great people and make their day just a little better. I hear people, understand their needs, and ensure our team delivers the desired results.Embracing challenges and finding practical solutions has been a driving force throughout my life and professional journey. Going straight from \"off the street\" to Special Forces was just the first in a series of formidable challenges. It allowed me to grow and develop new skills continuously. I enjoy leveraging data analysis, process improvement, and software applications to tackle complex issues and drive meaningful change.The Army provided me with invaluable opportunities to lead teams in fast-paced environments, excelling in critical tasks. This took place in settings ranging from basement offices, the top floor of embassies, and mud-walled buildings.
