ABOUT ROBIN SAMUEL MATHEW

Hello, I\'m Robin, and I stumbled into the world of tech when a chess engine defeated me in an online game. Call it petty, but that experience ignited my curiosity, and I\'ve been on a relentless quest to understand how it outsmarted me ever since. As a graduate student pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering at the University at Buffalo, I enjoy the challenges and opportunities that technology and innovation present. My academic journey has been complemented by hands-on experience, particularly through various impactful projects. In my current role as a Test Automation & Quality Assurance Analyst, I focus on ensuring high standards in software quality for internal tools. I’ve led initiatives to improve test automation coverage significantly, increasing it from 19% to 64% by implementing Playwright and Python. My responsibilities also include crafting SQL queries for data validation, identifying and analyzing defects, and designing Power BI dashboards to track test coverage and sprint progress. This work has provided a solid foundation in test automation and data integrity while allowing me to directly impact healthcare technology. One of my recent projects involved creating an Online Dictionary website using React and NodeJS, hosted on IBM Cloud. This platform provided users with word meanings and pronunciation, utilizing Solr for indexing and MongoDB for storage. Additionally, I developed a Movie Ticket Collection DApp on the blockchain, using Solidity and hosted on Netlify. This DApp allowed users to generate, buy, sell, and transfer ticket tokens using MetaMask, with a user-friendly front end built in ReactJS. During my undergraduate years, I worked on AR (Augmented Reality) games for autistic children using Unity 3D and C#, which aimed to improve motor skills and social interaction through hand gesture control via the Leap Motion device. My professional experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Accenture Solutions Pvt. Ltd further honed my skills in Java, Python, React.js, and Automation. I\'ve successfully led teams in deployment planning, developed automation bots, and optimized processes to save time and resources. These achievements led to accolades such as the FY22 Q1 ACE Award and \'The Captain\'s Award\' for proactive measures to prevent application inaccessibility. I\'m dedicated to leveraging technology to solve complex challenges and deliver high-quality results. Let\'s connect to explore how we can collaborate and innovate in the field of software engineering.
