From the moment I stepped into my first retail position with The Limited Brands I fell in love with retail. There was nothing like it. This was where I belonged, this was where I wanted to be. The ability to blend art and science, learning how to create an environment where customers AND employees are happy and WANT to shop.Retail Retail RETAIL, I love every minute of this ever changing industry. Creating, building, developing, leading, connecting, growing, the highs, the wins, the challenges, all of it. Every single minute has helped define the leader inside of me. I have learned along the way to never take anyone for granted, every individual matters and counts.For a brief time I had to step away from retail and after working for many in and out of the Industry. I was able to find and choose a company where we could align and believe in the same principles. My job is to mentor, inspire, coach and develop these leaders to drive and deliver results to increase our Brand profitability and strength. This is a new position for our Brand and has been developed as a bridge position from Store Manager to Market Leader to ensure success. Old Navy is my Company of choice and as one of my colleagues stated how can you not love working for a company with a philosophy of \"Gotta have it, jaw dropping belief in our products, people and fun.\"
