ABOUT ROBIN OLVER

I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA) and a certified Member in Practice (MiP). With over 15 years’ experience at board level, I am proud of having worked my way up through the ranks. I have built multi-site and multi-national experience along the way working with medium and large manufacturing and service providers. My strengths include business planning and delivering improvements in profitability, cash flow and financial processes. I am an effective communicator and collaborative team player who has made a significant contribution to business turnaround by helping non finance colleagues to understand the need for change, evaluate the possible strategic options and drive through to successful delivery. I have extensive experience of contract negotiations and commercial management and am comfortable interacting with customers and suppliers to achieve win-win outcomes. Having led teams for more than 20 years, I am passionate about colleague development. Together with many years’ experience of HR management this has enabled me to develop strong interpersonal and organisational skills. My interests include our family small holding and the domesticated and wild life it supports; reading and listening to music.
