Ms. Lumney joined Spirit Realty Capital, Inc. in May 2012 and currently serves as Senior Vice President and Controller. She has over 25 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting. Prior to joining Spirit Realty Capital, Inc, Ms. Lumney provided consulting services in the areas of accounting and financial reporting, ERP financial systems implementations, process improvement initiatives, and the accounting and reporting for companies reorganizing under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. She has also held positions as Controller and Chief Accounting Officer for PNM Resources, Inc, Vice President and Corporate Controller for Global Crossing Ltd.(now Level 3 Communications, Inc.) and senior manager for an international public accounting firm. Ms. Lumney earned a BA in Accounting from Michigan State University and has been a certified public accountant since 1989. She is a current member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Financial Executives International.
