Robin is currently employed by Soltage LLC as a renewables SME and Chief Technical Officer, overseeing Engineering, Asset Management, and Asset Operations. Previously, he worked at Convergent Energy & Power, where he managed the development, design, construction, and operation of integrated energy storage and storage+solar assets.Robin’s career in the utility sector includes nearly a decade at Consolidated Edison Company of New York. There, he was responsible for large capital infrastructure projects, interconnecting customer-sited generation, interconnecting customer-owned medium voltage substations, and designing demand response programs.Before joining Con Edison, Robin worked in the UK railroad industry as an Electrical Design Engineer. He developed complex engineering designs, specifications, standards, and working instructions for railway electrical distribution and transmission systems. He also implemented processes, standards, and quality controls for multiple traction power product development projects, managing their budgets throughout the project lifecycle. His role required extensive travel to develop new electrical products for the UK railroad.Robin holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Manchester, UK. He has completed the Con Edison/Siemens PTI Distribution System Engineering course and is a qualified Solar Photovoltaic Systems designer. Robin is a member of the 1547 Distributed Generation Interconnection Working Group and a core industry group member of the NYS Interconnection Technical Working Group

   Responsible for providing technical and operational leadership across the full lifecycle of Soltage\'s Solar PV and BESS energy projects, ensuring that engineering quality, system performance, and long-term asset value remain aligned. Oversee all engineering activities, from developing equipment specifications and design standards to managing RFPs, third party engineering contractor selection, and utility interconnection processes. Review and guide engineering deliverables at every stage, including early concept packages, design templates, and detailed construction drawings, while coordinating closely with Independent Engineers to support due diligence and financing requirements.Develop and maintain Corporate Dashboards that bring together key technical KPIs, schedule updates, and budget insights across active projects, giving teams clear visibility into project health and enabling proactive issue resolution.Lead day-to-day asset operations and asset management, including budgeting, performance monitoring, and O&M oversight. Utilize operational platforms, SCADA/EMS data, and technical analytics to identify performance trends and address issues early. Shape and refine BESS dispatch strategies to improve operational efficiency, enhance revenue capture, and ensure compliance with utility and market requirements—all while keeping cross-functional teams aligned and informed.
