I am Managing Partner for the EY Northern Ireland, leading a team of In September 2023 we announced plans to create at least new jobs in EYNI over a 5 year period.Prior to this I was a Tax Partner specialising in the provision of tax services with a focus on corporation tax, corporate restructuring and reorganisations. I have led many UK income tax reporting and compliance process client engagements for multinational organisations. I have provided tax advice to a number of private equity investee companies including the tax efficient structuring of such investments. Additionally, I have advised a range of UK companies in respect of R&D claims. In conjunction with this I have advised on group re-organisations, raising finance; debt restructuring, international tax structuring, acquisitions and disposals, Patent Box and tax efficient remuneration of employees. My clients range from fast growing entrepreneurial businesses to large multi nationals and household names. My clients operate across a number of sectors including retailing, manufacturing, technology and construction and I have a particular focus on the Agri- Food industry.In addition I lead the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Programme in Northern Ireland and I have advised a large number of the most successful entrepreneurial businesses in the region.
