About Robert Wolfley
As the Director of Veteran Services at Weber State University, I oversee the delivery of comprehensive services and programs for veterans, transitioning service members, their spouse and children, who are pursuing higher education and career development. I have a Master\'s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling (MRC), a Bachelor’s degree in Communications Studies, a certificate in Advanced Project Management, and over 20 years of experience in the Air Force, where I developed leadership, communication, and planning skills. My mission is to help veterans overcome barriers to employment and education, by providing them with guidance, support, and resources. I collaborate with various stakeholders, such as faculty, staff, employers, and community partners, to create a veteran-friendly campus and a network of opportunities. I also design and implement process improvements, data analysis, and strategic initiatives to enhance the quality and effectiveness of military-affiliated services. I am passionate about empowering military-affiliated students to achieve their academic and professional goals, and to successfully transition to civilian life.
