   Building on the foundation of my experience as a Senior Network Architect, I stepped into the role of Network Engineering Manager for a global team with Tangoe. Team objectives were centered on designing, building, and running the ever-evolving corporate infrastructure as well as the customer facing interface in our data centers. As part of the bigger picture, the team also collaborated with the Cloud, Enterprise, and Production Server teams to integrate the AWS presence and support all production environments. My role in this was both management as well as technical, supporting a primarily Cisco based routing and switching data center infrastructure, a multi-vendor global security footprint, and vendor relationship and contract management. Other accomplishments and areas of focus include, but are not limited to, the following: • Managed Network Engineering Team to support global enterprise network. • Collaborated with Cloud, Enterprise, and Production server teams to integrate and support Corporate and customer facing systems and applications. • Leader in annual SOC1/SOC2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and other audits. • Strategic Information Technology Planning. • Achieved annual operating expense reduction by auditing and decommissioning unused WAN circuits. • Achieved cost reduction by consolidating multivendor firewall environment to a single Vendor. • Simplified Firewall and VPN management through complete security footprint re-design. • Enhanced endpoint security compliance by integrating Fortinet Endpoint Posture Checking and Vulnerability Scanning. • Managed all circuit and network hardware support contract negotiation and renewals. • Ensured proper Change Management through use of ServiceNow. • Re-designed Data Center to achieve 10GB internal connectivity. • Worked with Executive Management to consolidate underutilized physical office locations Post-COVID and implemented regional Cloud VPN portal.
