ABOUT ROBERT SZOKUP
I have been with TD Bank for 30 years, spending equal time in 3 key areas - Retail distribution, Commercial banking and Insurance. My last 10 years have been with TD Insurance, having led regional Claims operations, our Group Insurance (Affinity group) Business and currently I lead a National Claims team. This includes all Residential Claims, Complex large loss, our High Net worth segment and our National Catastrophe team. I am honored to mention that I was one of two employees within TD Bank chosen to take part in the Governor General\'s Leadership Tour in 2012. Furthermore, I was also the recipient of our TD Vision in Action Award, which is the highest level of recognition the Enterprise offers. As a graduate of Concordia University in Montreal, I hold a BComm in Finance and more recently, earned an Exec MBA from John Molson school of Business. In my spare time, I lead the 2SLGBTQ+ Committee for Quebec region and also enjoy giving back by way of neighborhood charities and supporting the Quebec chapter of United Way (Centraide).
