As a GIS specialist with ten years focusing on geospatial technology, I am committed to providing scientific understanding about natural resource conditions, and problems in ecosystems and social environments.I have acquired hands on experience conducting research through complex technical procedures. Additionally, I have enjoyed conducting fieldwork for research projects.To further my career, I would like to further develop my skills in geographical information system (G.I.S.) development, and analysis of data of distributions and abundance.My recent research includes:Creation of GIS database for public administration sectors including city and county governments. Helping organize and streamline data for better utilization. Creation of GIS database for National Park Service to study the sustainability of the Indian River Lagoon by analysis of the regulations and human interaction and impact to the lagoon. New research and development of biogeography database through pollen description to help track and identify areas of interest. Researching and describing problems within healthcare facilities including their identity, origin, and prevention. Charged with developing and analyzing GIS databases within county and city government public administration facilities.Review, assemble, and analyze processes and procedures to client data on approximately 5 to 7 public administration entities.Created Python and SQL scripts to combine community data used for permitting and building informational purposes on one internal or cloud web service. Modify and manipulate client data while providing customer service to set up and help clients set up GIS systems such as ArcGIS, ArcServer and mapservices.Evaluate, document, and examine processes and procedures to determine client needs in partnership with team of data conversionists and consultants.Create HTML and Python scripts to connect ArcEnterprise mapservices to TRAKiT system and build batch files to automatically update client data on daily basis.
