ABOUT ROBERT ROWE

With over 4 years of experience in preventive medicine, public health, and medical education, I am a passionate and versatile physician, consultant, educator, and podcaster. As a Medical Consultant at the North Carolina Division of Public Health, I work with a team of experts to develop and implement policies, programs, and interventions that address the health needs and challenges of diverse populations and communities in the state. In addition to my consulting role, I am also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the UNC School of Medicine where I serve as faculty for the Preventive Medicine Residency Program and teach clinical epidemiology to medical students and UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, where I teach and mentor residents and students in the fields of population health, critical appraisal of health literature, and academic medicine. Furthermore, I am the producer and host of TarHeal Wellness: The UNC Resident Wellness Podcast, a platform that showcases the stories, insights, and best practices of residents and faculty who are leading the way in promoting wellness and leadership in graduate medical education. Through the podcast, I aim to inspire, inform, and empower listeners to achieve their personal and professional goals while being their healthiest selves.
