As an Associate Portfolio Manager at Peregrine, I draw on nearly 20 years in financial services and investment management to help clients achieve their long-term objectives through disciplined fundamental research, rigorous analysis, thoughtful stock selection, and active portfolio management. My current responsibilities focus on a range of industries within small cap growth, a dynamic segment of the market that can enhance return potential and diversification within a broader asset allocation.Previously, I served as CFO of Whitebox Advisors, an alternative investment management firm based in Minneapolis. Earlier in my career, I held leadership roles with KPMG and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, building deep expertise in financial reporting, auditing, and regulatory compliance that continues to shape my approach to risk management and investment due diligence. I am both a CFA charterholder and a CPA (currently inactive), reflecting a sustained commitment to high ethical standards, analytical rigor, and professionalism on behalf of clients.I am equally committed to serving my community. I currently serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Twins Community Fund, an organization dedicated to helping kids grow into healthy, productive adults by expanding access to play, facilities, and supportive programs throughout Twins Territory. I also had the privilege of serving on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities, supporting efforts to provide safe, supportive environments where children and teens can learn, grow, and thrive.
