Six Sigma & LEAN Black Belt certified. Role PurposeResponsible for the continuity and flawless execution of the Univision Network’s distribution streams along with various Univision channels. In charge of all Master Control operations at the Network Operations Center. Responsible for coordinating with all operational teams, engineering, and upper management as necessary.Responsibilities• Supervise and/or direct the on-air technical staff throughout the broadcast day for all Network’s on air responsibilities.• Coordinating strategic projects for Network Broadcast Operations.• Coordinating the identification, development and deployment of workflow opportunities and improvements.• Anticipate, react to, and resolve technical and operational issues with urgency and passion.• Partner with key stakeholders to lead the networks Master Control Technologies and workflows. • Maintain and execute the network broadcast while working with TLMD affiliates to ensure continuity between stations and Network • Ensure availability and quality assurance of all scheduled on-air media, including programs, commercials, network promotions and public service announcements.• Partner with senior leadership leading budget and capital planning cycles.• Defect tracking, root cause analysis and follow up through resolution.• Author and maintain manpower assignments and hours based on operational demands and changes, across the division.• Manage and evaluate the performance for a staff of 34+ employees.• Implement, in a timely manner, annual merit review of all personnel.• Develop, train and maintain the staff through an extensive Training program.• Maintain metrics for the department and coordinate for Division-level tracking.
