I am a civil engineer (10+ years in Construction), founder, and community builder focused on transforming how public-sector construction work happens in the U.S. and Latin America—by expanding access, increasing transparency, and modernizing the way Latino-led SMB contractors compete for infrastructure opportunities.Across my career—spanning concessions, construction operations, and VC-backed startup—I’ve become obsessed with one question: “How do we redesign the systems that determine who gets to build our cities?”That question led me to create two AEC communities verified members) that democratize access to public bids and connect accredited engineers to new project opportunities, and to build AI tools that reduce estimating time and cost by 50% for SMB contractors who traditionally operate at a structural disadvantage.Before founding Construction Bank, I revived an insolvent contractor by restructuring its operations and cashflow, winning an arbitration case against the Peruvian Government without specialized counsel, and delivering public-sector projects under extreme resource constraints. I later led cross-functional operations at a YC-backed startup, where I designed systems that improved cashflow, execution speed, and organizational alignment.I believe deeply in the power of collaboration, integrity, and technology to expand opportunity—especially in industries where access has historically depended on connections, gatekeepers, or scale.
