Head of Life Reinsurance Department (in-ward and out-ward business) at Generali Head Office.Member of the Board of Directors of the Generali’s Managers Pension Plan and Generali’s Managers Health Plan. Permanent Member of Generali Group Reinsurance Committee.Wide international experience as Group Risk Business Underwriter (Employee Benefit pricing).In the past, Roberto cooperated in the start-up project of Employee Benefits Dept. in Generali PanEurope (Ireland) and, earlier, he led the Employee Benefits pricing Team of Generali UK Branch where he specialized also in the design, the development, and the pricing of full range of disability pension products.He carried responsibilities within GEB (Generali Employee Benefits) both in the reinsurance and in the pooling and captive lines of business.Before that, he was assigned to the “Life Business Analysis and Development Dept.” with focus on UK, Greece, South Africa, HK, and Offshore operations.At the beginning of his career, he developed expertise in the Life Group Pension Plans actuarial evaluations (Defined Benefit Plans – integrated / not integrated with Social Security - and Defined Contribution Plans).Currently, Roberto steers and coordinates the Life Reinsurance Team who is in charge of setting up, in cooperation with the Group Business Units, the most efficient risk mitigation program for local Profit & Loss protection and/or as a capital management tool within the Solvency II framework. As such, he cooperates with the Group Actuarial Function, the Group Risk Management and the Group Financial Function.Moreover, he steers and coordinates the out-ward Life Reinsurance programs to protect Generali Head Office Profit & Loss through risk transfer and to optimize the Company\'s capital position, if needed.
