ABOUT ROBERTO SCARAFILE
I am a qualified Electrical Engineer with a degree thesis on renewable energies. Before obtaining my degree at the Politecnico of Bari in Italy in 2010 I spent seven months abroad, within the Erasmus Project program at the Universitat Polytecnica de Catalunya in Barcelona. I have worked 3 years as Project Engineer and Project Manager in an engineering company, Studio Tecnico BFP, where I realized my degree thesis, too. My working experience has been achieved both in projecting and working sites, personally supervising the carrying out of wind, photovoltaic and high/medium voltage plants. I’ve covered for three years the role of Project Engineer and Project Manager in the energy sector and for other three years I’ve been Responsible of Operation & Maintenance on behalf of SunPower and I manage 15 resources among the various subcontractors. I have worked for ELECNOR since 2017, firstly as Production Manager for the maintenance and construction of new electrical grids and as Project Manager for the creation of a new optical fiber red infrastructure. I covered the role of Project Manager for Open Fiber creation of a new optical fiber red infrastructure. Right now I\'m the Head of Public & Special Projects managing 20 people for the creation of the electric recharging infrastructure for electric cars all over Italy. The main professional skills are developed in the field of Project Management (consolidated by obtaining the Masters in Project Management of \"Il Sole 24 Ore\" and PMP certification being achieved ), in the maintenance of industrial plants, in electrical systems design and safety on construction sites.
