I am a Senior Corrosion and Materials Chartered Engineer with more than 20 years\' experience in corrosion, materials, and welding across a wide range of the energy sector. I have been recognised as an expert in my field by peers and have shown a commitment to my discipline through leadership in professional organisations and standards development. I am passionate about my discipline and have achieved many successes in Projects, Wells and Technology, generating value through a combination of deep discipline expertise, pragmatic engineering and by embracing digital and agile tools.I gained my first degree in chemical engineering from the University of Palermo (Italy) with a specialisation in electrochemistry. I completed a Ph.D. at Loughborough University (UK) in surface engineering.Currently, I am a fellow of IOM3 and ICorr and a member of NACE and TWI.
