About Roberto Longo
Born a few kilometers away from Barolo and Barbaresco, at the age of 15 Roberto stepped into his fathers\' coffee shop and immediately fell in love with everything about hospitality. A few years later, he was at a wine tasting in Barolo; it was at this tasting he found his passion and his career. He realized how a great wine has layers of complexity in history of soil, vintage and family traditions. Eager to learn more, Roberto left home and worked as a Sommelier across Italy, France, and England before he moved to the US in 2015. After a few years of learning as a Sommelier in different restaurants Roberto joined Le Jardinier and Shun in March 2019 as the Beverage Director.
