About Roberto di Marco
I am a founding partner of the firm of Foster, Walker & Di Marco, P.C. I have given seminars on business start-up and succession planning in both public and private venues around Greater Boston to various groups and has been a guest on various radio shows. I have chaired several charitable events and acted as Master of Ceremonies at events honoring elected officials. I volunteer my time with Malden Catholic High School and Brown University Alumni Associations. I am a member of the Italian American Citizens. I volunteered for the American Jewish Committee’s Judge Learned Hand Award committee and participated in several election campaigns, including my own run for school committee. I graded the Massachusetts Bar Exam. I am former chair of the Malden Conservation Commission and am a Member of the Community Preservation Committee. I am a trustee of Malden Catholic High School. Before founding Foster, Walker & Di Marco, P.C, I was associated with various business law firms in Boston and in the North Shore. I worked in the Massachusetts State Senate. While at the state house, I drafted and participated in the creation of several pieces of key legislation. I was a drafter of several special Senate Post Audit reports and acted as a community liaison for the senator. I am a lifelong resident of Malden. I attended Brown University where I graduated with honors. I am also a graduate of Northeastern School of Law. I have completed graduate work towards his master’s degree in special education. My wife, Maria Teresa, is a professor of Ethics at Merrimack College with a doctorate from Boston College. We have three daughters, Destiny Theresa, Juana Ines and Petra Luisa and a son, Giovanni Antonio. I advocate for and advise my clients on Socially Responsible Business Practices. Since joining the Board I have participated in Board initiatives to insure MC’s future. We have made capital expenditures for the purchase of neighboring properties for future growth. We have also planned and implemented the new Malden Catholic School for Girls, a first class single gender program initiative borne of social justice to insure equal educational opportunities for both genders.
