Over 15 years of experience in the manufacturing (grid casting, pasting, assembly and charging) of lead-acid stationary batteries, VRLA (AGM and gel electrolyte technology) and flooded types, and maintenance of production equipment • Reports to the CEO/President and directs our company operations as acknowledged by our business plan to ensure compliance with all internal and external policies • Excellent problem solving abilities and effective management skills, strong organizational and decision-making skills • Ability to communicate effectively in a written and verbal manner, and work with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams. • Knowledge of industry infrastructure, market factors affecting supply/demand, production processing economics, raw materials sourcing and storage. • Demonstrated experience with leadership in a team oriented environment and high motivational skills • Computer literate, highly organized and team oriented • Self motivated, work by objectives and independently, works exceptionally well without supervision and on own initiative • US and Italian citizenship • Multilingual, Italian mother tongue, fluent in English In 2004 I got a promotion to Production Manager and was relocated from FIAMM Italy to FIAMM Technologies in Georgia with the objective and responsibility to reduce scrap and increase production efficiency. In July 2006 FIAMM Technologies started assembling and forming 2 Volt VRLA batteries to Ah as well as the 2 Volt flooded cells SD-SDH with plates and key components shipped from Italy. In July 2007 we started manufacturing the SD series wet cells here in Waynesboro. I was instrumental in setting-up two lines for the assembly, welding and tank forming of these large VRLA batteries and flooded cells. Specialties: My responsibility as Production Manager includes manufacturing process, production scheduling by MRP and maintenance of the equipment.
