About Robert Millard

I am a cognitive and social psychologist by training. After leaving a career in college teaching, I have worked in the area of educational measurement and educational publishing for the last 20 years. I have specialized in product development, product marketing, but have also had responsibilities in research, statistical analysis, and report production. In addition, I am the sole owner of a research and statistical consulting firm, Sum of Squares. Sum of Squares provides research support, statistical analyses and reporting for private firms, and for K -12 school districts. Services include assistance in improving the use of school and classroom data; providing support in producing school board reports; and providing research design and statistical support for private firms. Specialties: Educational research design; statistical analysis; educational software and assessment product development; educational writing.
