Life Science Group - Custom Antibody DiscoveryOur Custom Antibody Discovery team are experts for in‑vitro generation, characterization & production of human antibodies + Fab fragments for non‑therapeutic research / diagnostic applications. Our platforms include:The HuCAL phage display library for rapid generation of high‑quality antibodies. The Pioneer human antibody library, enabling accelerated therapeutic discovery & leveraging SpyTag / SpyLock technology, providing a cutting‑edge approach for efficient bispecific screening.Key Responsibilities1. Ab Selection, Expression & Purification- Perform in‑vitro selection of abs from the HuCAL & Pioneer libraries using phage display - Conduct high‑throughput clone selection using advanced robotic technologies- Carry out recombinant expression in E. coli & purify abs using a variety of chromatographic techniques2. Ab Characterization & Quality Control- Perform & interpret data from analytical assays e.g. direct & indirect ELISA, Sandwich ELISA, SDS‑PAGE, Western blotting- Determine binding affinity and kinetics of antibody–antigen interactions- Conduct further characterization using Flow cytometry & Bio‑Plex Multiplex Immunoassay System3. Data Analysis & Reporting- Analyze experimental data & prepare internal presentations in the context of R&D project workflows4. Laboratory Operations- Serve as Maintenance Manager, overseeing technical operations of lab equipment & lab automation5. Lab Automation Development- Act as Automation Expert by developing, testing & implementing methods for automated systems, including: Beckman Biomek FX / i5, Hamilton Microlab STAR/Vantage platforms, Mol Dev Colony Picker (w/ PF3400 robot), Fluorescence readers, barcode scanners & other automated devices
