Direct report to President & CEO, responsible for leadership of RAND\'s legal function, Ethics & Compliance function, and Office of the Corporate Secretary (collectively, the \"Office of the General Counsel\"- OGC). OGC is a high-performing team of professionals who work seamlessly across RAND to identify opportunities and issues and provide actionable advice. We are highly mission-focused and dedicated to ensuring RAND\'s independence and objectivity. As the General Counsel, I have focused on building and developing our legal talent, on designing new systems for identification and remediation of risk, and on furthering the value and impact of our intellectual property - while also directly leading significant legal matters and litigation. As Corporate Secretary, I ensure that the Board is informed of all relevant facts and information, that all corporate governance responsibilities are satisfied, and have modernized our corporate governance and board support processes. As Ethics & Compliance Officer, I have led design, development, and implementation of the next generation of RAND\'s program, with a focus on enhancing the program while minimizing unnecessary compliance burden.
