ABOUT ROBERT KOPERSIEWICH

Looking for a new opportunity to use my skills and knowledge either within StatCan or federal department\'s. Also willing to explore Interchange Canada opportunities. I worked for the Canadian Housing Statistics Program at Statistics Canada, providing housing analysis that will help Canadians better understand the real estate market and influence future policies. My interest in real estate began at McGill University while completing my undergrad in economics. I worked for a condo developer in Toronto and began taking courses in real estate finance and banking. In my last year, I wrote a research paper on condo prices on l\'ile des Soeurs in Montreal. Using municipal tax data and econometric techniques, the model estimated the additional market value of various attributes (e.g. size, extra bedrooms, bathrooms, location in the tower, and view). For over 20 years, I\'ve worked at Statistics Canada on a variety of federal public service research projects that served to assess the current and future state of the workforce and workplace, and provided evidence-based analysis to inform senior management for the purposes of decision making at the department and public service wide. As an intrapeneur/entrepreneur within government, I have experience in a broad range of corporate planning activities, strategic planning, strategic review, and integrated business and human resources planning. My expertise in business data analytics has supported evidence-based decision making at all levels of government: program, branch, department and central agency. I have also provided strategic advice to all levels of management, including Deputy Ministers. Specialties: strategic planning, labour market research, demographic analysis and forecasting, business process analysis, project management, client relations, networking and public speaking.
