Robert Klamser is Chief Innovation Officer at Stretto, where he leads AI strategy and product innovation with a singular focus: building technology that actually changes how legal work gets done.After serving as Chief Revenue Officer, Robert moved into this newly created role to accelerate Stretto’s AI efforts, including Stretto Intelligence and the launch of Stretto Conductor, the first generative AI platform designed specifically for Chapter 11 cases. His work centers on moving AI out of experimentation and into production—where it delivers real value in complex, high-stakes legal environments.Robert operates at the intersection of AI, data, and legal workflows, translating massive volumes of unstructured information into insight legal professionals can trust and act on. He believes innovation succeeds only when it is grounded in domain expertise, designed for how people actually work, and built with transparency from the start.He views the legal industry as early in its AI adoption curve. The opportunity isn’t automation for its own sake, but intelligence that sharpens judgment, accelerates decision-making, and raises the ceiling on what legal teams can achieve.In 2012, Robert and co-founder Travis Vandell launched UpShot Services LLC, the industry’s first claims and noticing agency capable of administering a corporate bankruptcy case completely electronically. UpShot was recognized as an industry leader in case management and technology, receiving multiple awards for innovation and leadership. In 2016, UpShot was acquired and rebranded as JND Corporate Restructuring, and subsequently joined Stretto in 2019, with Robert serving as Managing Director.Before co-founding UpShot, Robert was the Director of Corporate Restructuring Services and the former Vice President of Operations at one of the nation\'s largest claims and noticing agents. On the operations side, he developed and managed scalable business processes as the company grew from a mere three employees to over 300. As a leader of the Restructuring Services group, Robert dictated direction on everything from technology to billing practices.
