ABOUT ROBERT KILLIN

I have developed and implemented a number of mentorship programs.I am an accomplished and highly skilled executive with a wealth of experience in leading and advising emerging and re-emerging businesses. With over 40 years in the industry, I built a strong reputation for providing practical and professional help to small and medium-sized businesses while reengineering enterprise processes. My expertise spans various domains, including business process improvement, business transformation, operations management, customer experience, project management, product development, and supply chain.Throughout my career, I have made significant contributions to diverse industries such as IT services, higher education, financial services, internet publishing, and transportation. I have many years\' experience providing advice and mentorship to developing leaders.As the President and CEO of SmartDeskCRM Inc. since 2017, I successfully brought a marketing automation software product to the market, accompanied by best-in-class services that drive SMB business growth, lead generation, and increased revenues.Prior to this role at SmartDeskCRM, I served as a Professor at Durham College from 2015 to 2018, 1st-year university and college business classes, as well as postgraduate project management courses. In my career I have led companies during major changes and worked as a Consultant for decades, leading project teams, redesigning work processes and implementing mission-critical technology (including AI), operations improvements, business planning, and funding. Working with the Electronic Commerce Council of Canada, long before EC became ubiquitous, I led an industry initiative to enable supplier EC, built an Electronic Commerce Resource Center, conducted a number of EC workshops, consulted to industry leaders and participated in the Prime Minister\'s Round Table on Electronic Commerce. I studied Business Administration and Management at Edinburgh Business School. My commitment to professional growth is evident through certifications as a Professional Logistician, Project Management Professional, Private Investigator, Certified Sales Professional, and Industrial Engineer Certified in Systems Integration. I authored the publication \"The Accidental Project Manager,\" showcasing insights and expertise in the field.
