Prior to his current in-house role, Robert ran a successful solo law practice for over 8 years, supporting various Bay Street firms and individual professionals, leveraging his experience and skills in the areas of securities regulation, securities litigation/enforcement, contract drafting and negotiation, and corporate governance. Prior to beginning his legal career, Robert earned an LL.B/B.C.L.(J.D. equivalent) from McGill University, Faculty of Law (graduating with \"Great Distinction\" in the top 10% of his class). He is dually licensed to practice law—in the State of New York and in the Province of Ontario—and he is fluently bilingual (English/French), with additional proficiency in Spanish and Italian.
