He plays a pivotal role in shaping legal and business strategies across the Americas, partnering with IGT’s land-based sales, technology, and product teams. Robert specializes in go-to-market strategies, customer and player-facing products, and high-value commercial transactions, ensuring IGT remains at the forefront of innovation and compliance.With deep expertise in commercial and intellectual property law, Robert negotiates and drafts complex agreements covering IGT’s vast gaming portfolio, including slot machines, video poker, VLTs, HHR, electronic table games, online gaming, sports betting, and casino systems. His ability to navigate legal and regulatory frameworks and align legal solutions with business objectives makes him an indispensable asset to the organization.Prior to joining IGT, Robert honed his skills in private practice, focusing on intellectual property and commercial law. He successfully managed international and domestic trademark portfolios, structured brand and technology licensing agreements, and represented clients in litigation before federal and state courts, the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and international dispute resolution bodies.Before entering the legal profession, Robert worked in commercial real estate, providing marketing, leasing, and sales support to clients nationwide.
