I’m a highly decorated and accomplished executive with experience leading teams in both non-profit andpharmaceutical organizations.In this capacity, I have proven myself to be instrumental inconnecting the mutual interests of large-scalecorporations with municipalities, as well as non-profitand community-improvement organizations on a localand national scale.Additionally, I have extensive experiencespearheading diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI)initiatives positively impacting not only experiences inorganizational culture, but also healthcare gaps withinunderserved communities. I specialize in conceivingprograms, assessing their risks, securing funding andmanaging that resulting budget to, build, train and leadteams that execute the accompanying goals. In total,I have enjoyed over 30 years of communityimprovement experience.Beyond overseeing strategies to train and deployapproximately two thousand direct reports and volunteersin my career, my latest professional endeavors havearmed me with years of financial and organizationalmanagement as well as project development skills. I havedesigned numerous projects boasting multi-million dollarbudgets benefiting almost 15 thousand stakeholders.Most notably, I am respected for my successfulorganizational restructuring efforts at Pfizer, where I havesolidified the company\'s industry standing as a world-class organization, and as CEO of the Detroit Police Athletic League (PAL), where he shifted the organization to a thriving non-profit.Throughout my career, I have earned countlessprofessional accolades including, Pfizer’s Great Manager Award, Multiple Premiere Awards, Bank of America’sNeighborhood Builders award, the Michigan Chronicle’sMen of Excellence and African American Leader of theYear awards, and Northwood University’s Outstanding Alumni Leadership award. Additionally, as CEO ofDetroit PAL, I have been honored to sit on severalGovernor Task Forces during the height of the COVIDpandemic. Alongside my professional efforts, I serve on theBoard of Trustees for Northwood University and on theNational Board of Directors for the Balm in Gilead, Inc,which strengthens the capacity of faith communities inthe United States and in the United Republic of Tanzaniain order to eliminate health disparities across the Blackdiaspora. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketingand a Master’s degree in Business Administration, bothfrom Northwood University.
