This will usually involve:Liaising with wealth managers to invest surplus fundsPurchasing property, either to adapt an existing house or to commence a new build projectEnsuring all necessary therapies are in placePurchasing all necessary equipmentOverseeing the preparation of reports to the Office of the Public GuardianI have extensive experience of making applications to the Court of Protection (both contentious and non-contentious) for statutory wills, gifts, variations to deputyship orders, including permission to purchase property, as well as applications to release funds from the Court Funds Office.I am able to set up personal injury trusts for those with damages awards who retain capacity to manage their financesI have an interest in overseas jurisdictions, including Europe, Asia and the USA and and act for clients with assets outside of the jurisdiction.
