I am currently part of a small team in the UK building Data & Analytics capability in Deals, as part of PwC\'s global strategic initiative. In this role I am involved in everything from recruitment/training to designing a Global \"Centres of Excellence\" model with lots of Tech along the way. Since joining PwC I have worked in the Operations team within the Deals Practice at PwC where I collaborate in Operational Due Diligence, Operational Strategy Reviews, Carve-Outs, Independent Business Reviews and other more traditional performance improvement projects. As a specialism I am currently working on the use of Analytics in Manufacturing Operations. Key projects include: Cost reduction – 10% Operational cost reduction by generating and sharing best practice in a pan-European Media business Working Capital – 20% reduction in working capital (receivables, payables, inventory) in European Petrochemical BU Ops improvement – 5 months as leader of a front line transformation working directly with operators and their managers Ops modelling – review of high-level models linking Commercial projections and £6bn cost base a postal carrier Synergy planning – Vending Machines, Fund Management, Building Products and Care Homes Due Diligence – automotive door-seal business based in E. Europe, UK Steel Mill, Industrial/Wind brake manufacturer
