   White Tiger Martial Arts is the corporate home for Song Moo Kwan Pan Song Ryu (Korean Karate) & WTMA Haidong Gumdo (Korean sword).Created the school from the ground up. WTMA is a Minnesota Non-profit corporation.Pine Tree Taekwondo was founded in January 1990. Our lineage is traced back through the Karate North organization, lead by Master Tom Sullivan (Duluth, MN), to Senior Grand Master Jun Sun \"Jay\" Hyon\'s Karate Center to the Song Moo Kwan founder, Supreme Grand Master Byung Jick Ro. In mid-2020, the Taekwondo program was re-branded to Song Moo Kwan Pan Song Ryu. This change is honor of the principles and theories that are part of what GM Hyon created.WTMA Haidong Gumdo started in 2005 with joining the USA Haidong Gumdo Association, an international division of the World Haidong Gumdo Federation (WHGF). We train directly with Senior Master Marshall Parnell and the WHGF Education Director, Kwanjangnim Jeong Woo Kim. Resigned positions with WHGF in March 2023.WTMA Haedong Kumdo joined the UWHKF in April 2023. I was appointed the USA Haedong Kumdo Head representative at the Dutch Haedong Kumdo seminar. Testing to 5th Dan UWHKF happened in May 2023.
