Managing shared web clusters and dedicated web hosting platforms in AWS using Ansible and Terraform. Infrastructure as code stored within GitHub projects and site updates and server updates done through Jenkins. Work with EC2, Route53, EFS, S3, Glacier, VPC, IAM and many other AWS services. Manage web servers running on Apache and NGINX using Drupal, EzPublish and Wordpress content management systems with caching such as memcached with external caching through Content Delivery Networks (CDNs). Use Jenkins a lot for build pipelines, managing automated updates/sync between environments and various tasks we can delegate to developers and others for self service tasks. Troubleshoot problems in large web applications pinpointing causes of performance and other problems in functionality, build new infrastructure for new projects and customers and improve existing systems with extra monitoring and improvements in configuration of services.Everything is deployed and managed at Big Blue Door using Infrastructure as Code with terraform, packer and Ansible scripts with some additional BASH scripting for some custom tasks. Everything is in the cloud (AWS) which is great as can and do quickly scale up infrastructure if client have sudden peaks.We work with wide range of clients at different technical levels, many not for profit, lots of councils around the UK as well as hosting web infrastructure used to serve up the Church of England website and Arch Bishop of York\'s website.
