ABOUT ROBERT CASTOR

Rob has 20 years of experience across multiple industries including environmental compliance and safety, process design, facilities operations, and project and construction management. Currently, Rob is a Department Manager at SSOE for a team of project managers, and he oversees several strategic client accounts in the advanced technology industry. Rob\'s teams have designed numerous multi-billion dollar construction projects throughout the US, and he represents the SSOE Senior Associates as an Observer on the SSOE Board of Directors. Rob has a Master of Science in Engineering Management with published research on financial controls strategies for design-build projects. As a young professional, Rob was closely involved in drafting guidance language on the EPA’s greenhouse gas reporting rule and represented the Texas semiconductor industry on an advisory panel to the TCEQ on implementation of property tax relief programs. In 2009 Rob was recognized as one of the New Faces of Engineering by the National Engineer\'s Week Foundation. Rob is an Italian American dual citizen and has raced bicycles at the elite level throughout Texas and the US. Rob has served as board president and treasurer for a 501(c)(3) non-profit amateur cycling club focused on community outreach and cycling advocacy in Austin.
